How to Get Flyers in 24 Hours
Speed depends on three things: your file, the clock, and your shipping choice. Here is the fastest path from order to delivery. First, prepare your file before you order. Use PDF format, CMYK color mode, 300 DPI resolution, and 0.125-inch bleed. A print-ready file means zero delays during prepress review. File issues are the number one reason rush orders miss their target. Second, submit early. Files approved before noon EST enter the same-day production queue. After noon, your order moves to the next morning. Every hour counts on a rush job — submit as early as possible. Third, choose the right delivery. For the absolute fastest turnaround, select same-day pickup at one of our Chicago-area locations. If you need shipping, overnight delivery combined with 24-hour production gets flyers to your door in two business days.
Avoiding Rush Order Delays
The most common delays on rush orders are file problems. Missing bleed, wrong color mode (RGB instead of CMYK), low-resolution images, and missing fonts all require a reproof cycle — which costs you hours you do not have. Before uploading, run through this checklist: File is PDF format. Color mode is CMYK. All images are 300 DPI at final print size. Bleed extends 0.125 inches beyond the trim on all sides. All fonts are embedded or converted to outlines. If your file passes these checks, it will sail through our prepress review and go straight to the press.
